2025 MO/KS LEADERSHIP ASSEMBLY

Every day, YMCA leaders empower young people, improve health and well-being, and inspire action in communities. Recharge, refuel and renew your commitment to our cause at the Missouri and Kansas Leadership Assembly for two days of professional engagement, peer networking, and learning. Connect with a network of peers in your specific program area. Learn together about best practices, foster innovation, learn new skills and develop as a leader in this one-of-a-kind professional development opportunity.

DATES: April 7-9, 2025

LOCATION: Springfield, MO, at the University Plaza Hotel & Convention Center

FEE: $250 per person, payable at registration or an invoice can be sent.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS: Click here to book your hotel room at the group rate of $122 per night by March 10. 

VENDOR REGISTRATION: There are vendor sponsorship opportunities available. Click here to register as a Vendor and select your sponsorship level. There will be a vendor exhibit area at the event as well. 

>> FOOD PROGRAM SUMMIT ONLY: On April 7, we will host a Food Program Regional Capacity Building Summit at the Ozarks Regional YMCA from 11am-3pm, as a part of our Leadership Assembly pre-conference sessions. If you are able to attend ONLY this Summit, please click here to register for it. If you are attending the Leadership Assembly, please use the registration above and you can select this as your pre-conference session.

 

 

 

Nominate your Y peers from any Missouri or Kansas YMCA association for one of the awards listed below! All nominations are due by March 15, 2025. 

Rookie of the Year Award

 

The Alliance Rookie Award recognizes a “rookie” (6-24 months of employment) in the YMCA movement for outstanding on the job achievements and for demonstrating the ability to operate and manage successful programs, membership management or fundraising efforts in the YMCA through exceptional leadership.

Community Impact Award

 

The Community Impact Award recognizes staff members who have made extraordinary contributions to the Y in their community and/or through the State Alliance. At the heart of every YMCA there are select staff who give incredible amounts of time and energy to advance the Y’s cause.

Program Excellence Award

 

The Program Excellence Award celebrates Y programs that are innovative and making a difference in communities across the states of MO and KS. 

Advocate of the Year Award

 

The Advocate of the Year Award celebrates a Y leader that has demonstrated passion and commitment for advocacy, sharing the Y story, and advocating for the Y at the local, state, or federal level.
