Nominate your Y peers from any Missouri or Kansas YMCA association for one of the awards listed below! Nominations are due by March 15, 2024. Awards will be announced at the Closing Session of the MO/KS YMCA Leadership Assembly in Springfield, Missouri, on Friday, April 26, at 9am.
Rookie of the Year Award
The Alliance Rookie Award recognizes a “rookie” (6-24 months of employment) in the YMCA movement for outstanding on the job achievements and for demonstrating the ability to operate and manage successful programs, membership management or fundraising efforts in the YMCA through exceptional leadership.
Community Impact Award
The Community Impact Award recognizes staff members who have made extraordinary contributions to the Y in their community and/or through the State Alliance. At the heart of every YMCA there are select staff who give incredible amounts of time and energy to advance the Y’s cause.
Program Excellence Award
The Program Excellence Award celebrates Y programs that are innovative and making a difference in communities across the states of MO and KS.
Advocate of the Year Award
The Advocate of the Year Award celebrates a Y leader that has demonstrated passion and commitment for advocacy, sharing the Y story, and advocating for the Y at the local, state, or federal level.
